This art attraction has become one of the most interesting places to visit in Montpellier, with donations of François-Xavier Fabre in the 1820s that led to its foundation. From that moment on, the collection has become bigger and more interesting, due to the more than 800 works donated by names like Frédéric Bazille and Pierre Soulages. Here you will be able to see paintings and sculptures from renowned artists like Rubens, Veronese, Rigaud and Zurbarán.
