Saint Clement' s church. One of the most interesting of Rome, a three leveled building, with the original Roman ground level occupied by the mint, then the 4th century Church which was built on top of the roman building and that survived until the 12th century when it was found unsafe and for this reason filled in with rubble to be used as the foundation for the new one.

Saint Sebastian' s Catacombs. The original tombs of early christians, a vast network of subterrenean, undergrounds galleries which criss-crossed for miles and extended over two or three stories.

Saint Cecil' s Church. An elegant church of a renowned district, Trastevere. In Roman time, it was the 14th region of Rome, Transtiberim, which included the Janiculum hill and the Vatican which was kept outside the wall boundary. Thanks to the loop in the river and the great availability of water, many crafts, such as leather curing, were practiced. The area was full of mills, baths, fields, and temples, and the ample spaces available allowed buildings development with numerous public housing constructions. Tradition indicates that it was in one of these homes that Cecilia lived on its foundation that the Basilica was built.
