Otavalo, the handicraft capital of Ecuador, is a beautiful and vigorous city. It is home to a large indigenous population located in the Imbabura Province, with approximately 92,000 inhabitants. Otavalo is surrounded by the Imbabura, Cotacachi, and Mojanda volcanoes. This is a gorgeous and enchanted town in which you will enjoy a cultural tour and discover the famous indigenous market, along with some of the amazing attractions in locations near Otavalo. An English speaking guide will stay with you the whole tour.

Itinerário

We offer this private tour to Otavalo every day. You can customize your itinerary but we recommend you the program below. This day you will visit the city of Otavalo, the condor park, and Cotacachi or the Peguche waterfall. It is also possible to make a stop at a rose farm and get an explanation of the growing process, before you will be brought back to Quito.

Itinerary

08:00am Pick-up at hotel in Quito and start driving to Otavalo

10:00am Coffee or chocolate and local biscochos at Lago San Pablo.

11:00am Visit to the Condor park including a bird show with Eagles and Hawks.

12:30pm Visit Otavalo’s market and have a local lunch

2:30pm Visit Cotacachi’s leather town or Peguche Waterfall

4:00pm Drive back to Quito

Note: All hours are approximate. You can choose your own starting time but the standard departure time is 8am.
