The safari takes you off the beaten tracks of the regular tourist routes and ventures deeper into the wilds of Finnish Lapland. The route adjusts based on your riding skills and the day’s weather conditions. Your professional Arctic guide will take you through beautiful Taiga forests and over the frozen landscapes of the Rovaniemi area.

On route, we stop several times to take in the serene nature and scenic views. The focus of this tour is a mini adventure with a long driving distance. Midway through this full-day snowmobile adventure, you will stop for a delicious lunch in traditional Finnish wooden kota. You will warm up by the fire and recharge for the afternoon ahead!

We highly recommend single driving for this tour, which is for ADULTS only.

Please note you will stay outdoors for a minimum of 5,5 – 6 hours and have a long snowmobile ride – the 7-hour tour time includes transfers to and from the start/finish location. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for extra charge. Single riding is much more enjoyable due to the nature and duration of the tour. Solo travellers can join the tour under the same conditions. Adults only!

The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The driver is held liable for a flat rate of 1000 € per person in case of an accident.

Cold weather clothing will be provided, but we recommend to dress appropriately. Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. This experience may require a certain amount of endurance. Hotel pick-ups commence 10 - 60 minutes prior to the start time. Your pick up time will be confirmed by email. The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license – A1, T, A or B category (please check that it is valid in Finland). For all snowmobile tours we ask you to take your physical driving license with you. Please note that it is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The starting point for the safari is stated in the booking confirmation. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile.
