Entertainment in Italy

Italy's entertainment section splits into two uneven halves. The first is music in churches: an opera concert at Santa Monaca church in Florence runs seventy minutes at 35 dollars, baroque Vivaldi at San Vidal in Venice ninety minutes at 46. It is a cheap evening in an interior worth the ticket on its own.

The second half is self-guided city quests, and here sit the lowest prices in the whole Italian catalogue: Siena and Naples at 4 dollars for two hours, Florence 5 for three hours, Milan 8, Verona 15. Your phone leads the route, no guide is needed and the pace is yours; for a first pass at a city that is often enough.

A costumed photo session in Venice delivering a hundred shots lasts an hour at 647 dollars, and a Sicilian wine and cheese tasting in Palermo two hours at 394.
