Catalina Island Tour

Catalina Island is one of the most beautiful in the entire Caribbean. A few kilometers from La Romana, located in the East of the Dominican Republic, the island has barely 15 square kilometers of beaches and jungle in which fauna and flora stand out. Although it is the second largest island in the country, only behind Saona Island.

The guided tour sets you on the discovery of one of the most beautiful places in the entire Caribbean, located just a few kilometers away from La Romana and in the southeast part of the Dominican Republic. You will get there on board a catamaran, trying the local drinks and enjoying the entertainment and Dominican music throughout the journey. The second largest island in the country, Catalina Island has truly remarkable fauna and flora and about 15 square kilometers of beaches and jungle. Its crystal-clear water makes it a perfect place for snorkeling, and you will be provided with the necessary equipment and the instructor's assistance. The island's coastline is made up of coral reefs and is filled with all kinds of marine life. You will visit the three main beaches of the island, the East, the West and the North. For lunch, you will be provided with a buffet, trying the dishes of Dominican Creole cuisine.

Itinerary:

• 07:00 - Pick up from your hotel to our meeting point.
• 08:30 - Departure from our meeting point to La Romana.
• 10:30 - Arrived in La Romana from where we will go to Catalina Island.
• 10:45 - Embark to the catamaran where youll start to enjoy our local drink with our entertainment team.
• 11:45 - Our first stop where youll start snorkel with our professional guide and he will answer all questions and doubt you may have during the activity.
• 13:30 - Lunch time in our open buffet where you will taste the best dishes of Dominican Creole cuisine.
• 14:30 - Time to enjoy the wonderful beach of Catalina Island.
• 15:30 - Return to La Romana.
• 17:00 - We start the return trip to your accommodation.
• 18:00 - End of the tour.
