As soon as you are getting closer to Bacalar, you will understand why it's considered one of the most amazing tourist attractions in Mexico. You will think it's an optical illusion because of all the blue shades, but actually you will be seeing the Laguna de Siete Colores (Lagoon of Seven Colors).

Sian Ka'an is home to thousands of species of flora and fauna, which is why the region became a designated Biosphere Reserve in 1986 and it's considered a sublime area of natural beauty by the thousands of travelers that comer here every year. In 1987, it was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Chacchoben has become one of the most visited and ancient sites. When you are here, you will see this amazing ceremonial center. Your experience will be filled with the world of the ancient Maya and you will be able to feel their vision through three excavated and restored pyramids, many walls and staircases.
