Brunelleschi's Dome Insights: A Fascinating Journey into History, Art and Architecture

While you walk your way to the other side of it, get a closer look at the biggest fresco of the world, painted by the great artists Giorgio Vasari and Federico Zuccari: watch the figures come alive right in front of your eyes and enjoy such an evocative and unforgettable moment.
It’s time to keep going up, there are now only some steps left before reaching the top of the Lantern. As you go outside, you will be struck by a 360 degree view of the historic center of Florence, with Giotto’s Bell Tower and the peak of Palazzo Vecchio defining its iconic skyline. You will also have a unique perspective on the dome itself, which from just under your feet will descend to the ground, becoming one with the roof of the Cathedral.
