San Leo: Journey into the Heart of Montefeltro (route 2)

Discover the charm of San Leo with a comfortable bus excursion from Rimini and surrounding areas, designed to offer you a day full of beauty, history, and relaxation. The ancient village of San Leo, perched on an imposing rocky cliff and surrounded by naturally impassable walls, is located in the heart of the Val Marecchia, just behind the Republic of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera. As the historical capital of the Montefeltro region, San Leo is a timeless place, mentioned by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy and included in the circuit of “Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages.”

The package includes round-trip transportation by Gran Turismo coach, a dedicated shuttle to comfortably reach the fortress, entrance to the Rocca with a guided tour, and to finish in style, an aperitif on the terrace with a panoramic view over the magnificent surrounding landscape. Children up to 100 cm in height travel for free (1 child free per paying adult), making this experience perfect for families.

A symbol of the village and a must-see on this excursion, the Fortress of San Leo impresses with its grandeur, legends, and history. Famous for having hosted the imprisonment of the mysterious Giuseppe Balsamo, known as Count of Cagliostro, the fortress holds centuries of events, mysteries, and stories that you will discover during the guided tour included in the package.
