You’ll visit and explore Knossos Palace, Lasithi Plateau and It's 16 traditional villages, Zeus Cave, old wind mills, a 2400 years old Plane tree, a pottery, will have a Greek coffee in a traditional caffe, an olive oil mill, where we'll taste different kind of local olive oils and of course you'll enjoy in a family tavern Cretan traditional lunch cooked with fresh local ingredients.

It was known as Knossos during the Minoan civilization, which was one of the most advanced and influential civilizations in the Mediterranean region around 4,000 years ago. The ruins of the ancient city of Knossos, including the famous Palace of Knossos, is the most visited site in Crete and second most visited site in Greece after Acropolis.

Program

Our tour begins visiting the 4rth generation olive oil factory. Here you'll have the chance to learn the way the Cretan people produce the golden liquid since thousands years, than we are going to taste different kind of extra local olive oils. Note: 2 hours is spent for transport to get from one place to the other

We'll visit this traditional village with it's monumental of the nature Platanus Tree, which is considered to be the oldest and most majestic of the plane trees in Crete and one of the oldest in Greece and the springs of the villages with fresh water.

Walking through the narrow streets of the traditional village admiring the old stone houses and the Cathedral. In this village we are going to enjoy a traditional Cretan lunch in family taverna.
