Trekking in atlas mountains of Morocco

Marrakech - Skoura Oasis - Roses Valley - Tagdilt village. Depart from Marrakech (approx. 1,100 m) and cross the scenic High Atlas Mountains (2260m) toward the lush Skoura Oasis, famous for its palm groves and historic kasbahs. Continue through the fragrant Roses Valley, renowned for its rose cultivation and traditional Berber villages. The day concludes in Tagdilt village, the starting point of your Saghro trekking adventure. where we will meet our mules team.  the Night will be in a Berber GuestHouse.

Taoudilt - Almou n Ouarge. After breakfast, begin your trek across the plateau from Tagdilt (approx. 1,600 m), gradually ascending toward the Azarzim Pass (approx. 2,200 m). Enjoy a picnic lunch just before reaching the pass, followed by a rewarding crossing with panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Continue your descent to the shepherds’ settlement of Azib Almou N’Ouarg (approx. 1,800 m), where you will have dinner and spend the night camping. 6 hours

Almou n Ouarge - Kouaouch Summit (2700m). After breakfast, depart from Azib Almou N’Ouarg (approx. 1,800 m) and begin a steady ascent through the rugged landscapes of the Saghro Mountains. The trail gradually leads you higher toward the Kouaouch Summit (2,700 m), offering expansive views over volcanic ridges and vast desert plains. After reaching the summit and enjoying the panoramic scenery, descend to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay. 6–7 hours

Igli - Tiblah - Ighazoun. After breakfast, depart from Igli (approx. 2,200 m) and follow a scenic trail across the volcanic landscapes of the Saghro Massif. Pass through the area of Tiblah, with its striking rock formations and wide-open views, before continuing toward Ighazoun (approx. 1,900 m). Upon arrival, settle into camp, enjoy dinner, and spend the night under the clear desert sky. 5–6 hours

Ighazoun - Bab n Ali - Ousdidn. After breakfast, depart from Ighazoun (approx. 1,900 m) and head toward the spectacular rock formations of Bab n’Ali (approx. 1,600 m), one of the most iconic landmarks of the Saghro Massif. Take time to enjoy the dramatic scenery before continuing along the trail toward Ousdidn (approx. 1,500 m). Upon arrival, settle into camp, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. 5–6 hours (where our trekking adventure concludes)

Ousdidn - Nkoub - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate. After breakfast, depart by vehicle from Ousdidn (approx. 1,500 m) and travel to Nkob (approx. 1,050 m), a village known for its traditional kasbahs and desert scenery. Continue through the lush Draa Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves and scenic oases. Overnight in a nice hotel in Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate - Ait ben haddou Kasbah - Marrakech. After breakfast, begin your journey with a visit to Ouarzazate (approx. 1,160 m), often called the “Gateway to the Desert,” exploring its kasbahs and film studios. Continue to the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its earthen architecture and cinematic history. After the visit, drive back to Marrakech (approx. 1,100 m), concluding your adventure through the High Atlas and Saghro regions.
