Explore Oslo’s main highlights on this private walking tour, designed to give you a clear and enjoyable introduction to the city.

If your hotel is in the Oslo centre, or you arrive in Oslo by cruise ship, our guide will start there. Don´t forget to inform us of the name of your hotel or the cruise ship.

But if you live outside Oslo, the usual starting point is near P.A. Munch´s monument in front of the University of Oslo, Karl Johans Street 47. During the tour, you will see the City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place; you’ll walk through the lively centre, passing landmarks such as the Parliament and the National Theatre; you will see the Royal Palace in the distance, and so on. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the city’s history, culture, and everyday life.

You’ll continue to Akershus Fortress for views over the fjord, then head towards the waterfront. In Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen, you’ll see how former industrial areas have been transformed into vibrant districts filled with restaurants, cafés, and galleries.

Throughout the tour, your guide will also point out good local spots for food, drinks, and shopping, so you can make the most of your time in Oslo.
