The Dolomites are a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site with many routes and itineraries that twirl through one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. When you get to the meeting place, you can hop on a minivan and enjoy the ride to the Belluno province in the northwest corner of the Veneto Region. The first stop will be Cortina d'Ampezzo, where you will have a half-hour break and go for a brief walk in the famous town in the Ampezzo Dolomites. After, you'll go to Lake Misurina, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Cadore area, where you'll see the stunning Dolomite peaks, including the famed Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
Then you'll drive to Lake Braies, one of Italy's most beautiful lakes; during the two hours you'll have at your leisure, you may have lunch or take a magnificent stroll all around the lake (approximately 4 kilometers in about an hour and a half) and, why not, have an excellent tour of the lake in a rowboat. You will then return to your starting place in the early afternoon. Cortina d'Ampezzo is the largest and most famous of the 18 towns that make up Ladinia. It is known as the "Queen of the Dolomites" and is a popular tourist destination both in the winter and summer. It is also where many international winter sports events take place. It held the 1956 Winter Olympics and will co-host the 2026 Winter Olympics with Milan. Enjoy your spare time strolling around this attractive and well-known mountain center. Then take a stroll around Misurina Lake or stop at a café to take in the scenery of this beautiful lake. The Tre Cime di Lavaredo (2360 m) has one of the best views of the valleys and peaks, and the landscape is just spectacular. Finally, enjoy the breathtaking scenery by taking a walk around Lake of Braies or relaxing at one of the lakeside cafés.
