Children's policy: remember that children under four are not authorized on game drives. Private safaris can be booked ahead of time so that children under the age of four can go on a wildlife drive with their parents while being closely watched. There will be limited Inverdoorn housing available for small family stays. Please confirm any family requirements with your safari advisor when booking. Subject to hotel availability, one kid between the ages of 4 and 12 may share with two adults at half the adult cost. Since Inverdoorn is a small lodge, all children must always be under the direct care of their parents. As a parent, guardian, or chaperone, you are personally and legally responsible for and must keep an eye on children at all times. Please do not leave children unaccompanied in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel grounds unsupervised.

Our lodges are great for families and people who like to try new things because they are comfortable and have a common area with a fireplace and tea and coffee stations. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower and air conditioning, so your stay will be comfortable and relaxing.

The lodge rooms are available in three distinct lodges, each with its distinct personality and all conveniently located near all amenities. The lodge accommodations are perfect for first-time visitors and families. Two of the three lodges include a shared sitting room with fireplaces and tea and coffee amenities to make it more comfortable. All the lodge rooms have their own showers and air conditioning, which can be used to heat or cool the room.

The Inverdoorn Big 5 Private Game Reserve is about two and a half hours from Cape Town. It is in the malaria-free Ceres Karoo. A successful project to save cheetahs is also based in reserve, significantly adding to the area's biodiversity.
