Throughout this hip tour, you will be introduced to the local street art scene, getting to know some of the best graffiti in Athens. As you stroll around, learn how the socio-economical factors and the crisis have affected the urban culture and the local artists. See a lot of street art which is connected to both the past and current situation, and understand how many of the artists were affected, and what each work represents. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore various districts of Athens and mingle with the locals. Visit some of the most up-and-coming-areas, as well as some of the underground neighborhoods of Athens. Your expert guide on street art will guide you through small alleys and hidden courtyards, throughout the center of Athens. During this activity, also learn how to decode the messages, drawings and images you will find on your way.

Monastiraki. We kick off the tour in lively Monastiraki, home to some of the city’s most iconic murals. It’s the perfect introduction to Athens’ vibrant street art scene.

Iroon Square. Nestled in the heart of historic Psirri, this atmospheric square is surrounded by bold and colorful murals—each one telling a story of the city’s urban soul.

Psirri. Explore one of Athens’ most creative neighborhoods, filled with graffiti-covered walls, cozy tavernas, and buzzing cafés. This is a street art lover’s paradise with endless photo ops.

Omonoia. In Omonoia, we’ll uncover some of Athens’ oldest and most legendary murals—powerful pieces that have stood the test of time in the heart of the city.

Metaxourgeio. We wrap up in Metaxourgeio, one of Athens’ trendiest and most artistic districts. Here, cutting-edge street art meets a dynamic local vibe—an inspiring end to the tour.
