Itinerario

Welcome to Cancun gems. Meeting Point: Mayan Museum of Cancún at 10 AM. Meet your guide at the Mayan Museum, where your journey begins. Get acquainted, learn about the day's adventure, and discover how Cancun's history, breathtaking landscapes, and local traditions come together to reveal the city's true soul.

Mayan treasures, history & nature. Discover the fascinating world of the ancient Maya through a guided visit to the Mayan Museum of Cancún. Accompanied by a certified federal guide, you'll journey through centuries of history, exploring one of the most important collections of Mayan artifacts in Mexico. From intricately carved stelae and ceremonial objects to ancient sculptures, pottery, and archaeological treasures, each exhibit reveals the remarkable achievements, beliefs, and daily life of one of the world's most advanced civilizations. Your guide will bring these artifacts to life with engaging stories and expert insights into Mayan astronomy, architecture, religion, trade, and cultural traditions, helping you understand the legacy that continues to shape the Yucatán Peninsula today. Beyond the museum itself, you'll also enjoy the beauty of the surrounding archaeological gardens, where nature and history blend seamlessly. Walking among native vegetation, ancient ruins, and local wildlife, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the intimate relationship the Maya maintained with the natural world. A perfect combination of culture, archaeology, history, and nature, this experience offers an enriching introduction to the extraordinary heritage of the Mayan civilization.

Postcard views of the Caribbean sea. From the museum, we continue to the iconic Playa Delfines, one of Cancún’s most beautiful and scenic beaches. Here, you'll have time to admire the breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, stroll along the panoramic lookout platform overlooking the beach, and capture incredible photos of the coastline. This stop also includes a visit to the famous colorful Cancún sign, one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. With the stunning shades of blue of the Caribbean Sea as your backdrop, it's the perfect place to create unforgettable memories and take some of the best photos of your trip.

Exploring Cancún's traditional market. Next, we'll step away from the tourist areas and immerse ourselves in the authentic atmosphere of Mercado 23, one of Cancún's oldest and most traditional local markets. Unlike the more famous tourist markets, Mercado 23 is where local families shop every day, offering a genuine glimpse into Mexican daily life. Wander through colorful aisles filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, aromatic spices, regional ingredients, handmade products, and traditional flavors that have been part of the local culture for generations. Surrounded by vibrant colors, friendly vendors, and the lively energy of the market, you'll experience a side of Cancún that most visitors never get to see; authentic, flavorful, and deeply connected to the local community.
