Spectacular tour to one of Austria's highest glaciers

The route from Salzburg takes you through spectacular alpine scenery to the first stop in Kaprun. Modern cable cars make the trip up to the observation deck Gipfelwelt 3000 on the mountain Kitzsteinhorn at an elevation of almost 10,000 ft. (3,029 meters) easy and barrier-free.

Enjoy marvelous alpine views from the Panorama Skywalk "Top of Salzburg", towering 160 ft. (50 meters) above the glacier. A 1,200 ft. (360 meters) long tunnel housing the National Park Gallery leads to another observation deck facing the Großglockner, Austria's highest peak. 

The Ice Arena park with snow bars, slides, sun chairs on snow beaches and much more brings all fun winter activities into the summer months. A secured glacier trail for hiking is open during July and August.

The next stop on this tour is Zell am See - a beautiful little town nestled between alpine peaks and Lake Zell. Explore the historic town center or take a stroll along the lakeside promenade while enjoying the marvelous scenery of the lake and its surrounding mountains.
