Explore Egypt's greatest pyramid fields on this full-day journey through the evolution of pyramid building. Begin at the Giza Plateau, home of the last surviving wonder of the ancient world, exploring the Three Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world's oldest stone monument, before ending in Dahshur, home to the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, early architectural experiments that paved the way for the perfect pyramids of Giza.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes, as several stops involve walking on sand and uneven terrain. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and water for the outdoor sites. Mornings are ideal, offering cooler temperatures and fewer crowds.
