Visit the Guarani Indigenous community in the city of Bertioga and experience a meaningful cultural and nature-based day in the Atlantic Forest. This is not a staged performance, each visit is authentic and shaped by the community’s rhythm and what they choose to share. Learn about Guarani spirituality, values, language, and daily life, and take part in moments that may include cultural conversation, optional jenipapo body painting, traditional archery demonstration, and observation of crafts and community life.

Enjoy a light forest walk to the Silveira River, a sacred place with crystal-clear natural pools perfect for swimming and relaxing. During the experience, enjoy two food moments: a symbolic Indigenous tasting and a light picnic provided by the tour host.

After the community visit, enjoy lunch and downtime at Praia da Enseada, a calm, family-friendly beach with kiosks, shade, and gentle waves. A portion of your tour supports local Indigenous projects.

Itinerary

The highlight of your visit is most likely to be meeting and interacting with the Guarani people. Offer them respect and dignity and they’ll reward you in return with stories about their way of life, singing and dancing performances, selling handicrafts, body painting, lectures, hikes through trails experiencing the diversity of Atlantic’s fauna, flora in the rainforest. In addition, bring your swimsuits along so we can jump in the river and waterfalls where often the Indigenous kids swim and splash around. This is a socially-conscious tour that part of your payment is reverted to the Guarani village to support their projects within the community. It is much more sincere and authentic than the typical tour and this will be real cultural immersion. You will spend the day getting to know the community, children, people and their work.

After lunch, we drive to the Itaguaré beach that stands out for its quietness, a strip of clear soft sand and gentle waves, ideal for sea bathing and ecotourism. Itaguaré Beach is a great option for those who want tranquility amidst beautiful landscapes. It has crystal clear waters, natural pools and streams that flow into the sea.
