Itinerary

Pick-up in Lisbon and drive to the Setúbal Region. This tour is intended to be a foodie tour, for you to taste typical Portuguese traditions. Above all, your guide will link the Portuguese culture and history with its cuisine. Explaining the origin of these simple, but traditional dishes. 

Traditional Olive Oil Tasting. Your day begins at a charming, family-owned olive oil business, where you’ll learn about the production methods and differences of the olive oils that exits in Portugal, in a guided tasting of traditional olive oils.

Your wine tasting in a family owned winery. Next, you’ll visit a small family-run “boutique” wine cellar, where passionate winemakers share their craft and invite you to taste their wines that truly reflect the region´s character, and meet the owners.

And finally, your traditional lunch. The experience concludes with a leisurely lunch at a memorable beloved fisherman’s restaurant. There’s no set menu, as your meal is crafted from the morning’s catch, where the star of the table is obviously fresh fish, prepared with love using simple Mediterranean recipes. Here, you’ll experience the spirit and quality ingredients that define Portugal´s celebrated food culture.
