Begin your adventure at a traditional salt farm, where you’ll learn about the local harvesting process. Then, experience the excitement of the Maeklong Railway Market, where vendors quickly clear their stalls just moments before the train passes through. Stop by a coconut sugar farm to see how coconut nectar is turned into delicious treats, and then hop on a boat ride through the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where vendors sell fresh produce and local delicacies right from their boats.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in nature with a scenic trek through Erawan National Park. Hike through the lush rainforest to reach the breathtaking Erawan Waterfall, where you can swim in crystal-clear pools or challenge yourself to climb its seven tiers. Take a relaxing stroll along the bridge, soak in the picturesque river views, and capture the perfect sunset photos before heading back with unforgettable memories.

Itinerary

Salt Field. The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!

Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub). The railway market in Mae Klong District is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! It is well known as one of the “Amazing-Thailand” for its chaotic moments. In normal time, seller stalls are typically attached to the railways. However, when the bell of the arriving train rings, the big turmoil will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stalls and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all vendors will expand their stalls and resume selling again. Private Tour Only: You will ride a local train toward the Mae Klong station for about 30 minutes. Instead of standing on the sides of railway, you will be on the train seeing people doing selfies and recording videos. You will be waving your hands to worldwide tourists! The train ride is included for our private tour customers only (optional purchase for join tour customers).

Coconut Sugar Farm. You will observe how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the coconut nectar into the drinkable one. You will try squeezing coconut milk from coconut shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Worldwide tourists come here to experience this 38 kilometers, man-made canal initiated by the visionary King Rama IV 150 years ago. This canal was used as “road” when there was no road in Thailand. This floating market is currently the center of fruits and vegetable trading. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle. A motor boat ride is already included in your tour.

Erawan Waterfall is recognized as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. Erawan has seven separate tiers spanning approximately 1,500 meters through the thick rainforest of the park. The park are named after "Erawan", the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant head. Admission fee for foreigners are included in your tour.

River Kwai Bridge. Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge over the River Kwai has become famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties to make it easy to walk over the span. There are also viewing platforms between the trestles to give you a view of the river as well as to give you a place to get out of the way if you're on the bridge when a train comes. You will have a delicious lunch at a raft restaurant near the River Kwai Bridge. The Death Railway, or the Thai-Burma Railway, is a train made infamous by a horrific wartime atrocity upon prisoners of World War II. The train still operates as a regular Thailand regional train. Thai locals and foreign tourists can ride this train to explore important landmarks in Kanchanaburi such as Krasae Cave, the River Kwai Bridge, and Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. Pls note that we will visit Death Railway, not Death Railway museum.
