  • Visit Suvanto Village – the only village in Lapland that survived the destruction of the Lapland War in 1944. Suvanto is a protected cultural site, home to well-preserved buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The oldest building, Hiltunen’s main house, was built in the 1700s.

  • Stop at Visitor Centre Naava – learn about the natural and cultural history of the Pyhä-Luosto National Park through an inspiring exhibition.
