MEETING POINT: Via Tunisi, 4, at the BOTTOM of the STEPS, across the street from the Vatican Museums' entrance. Look for a MAXIMUS TOURS SIGN. MEETING TIME: please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your tour. ATTENTION: As most visitors to Rome are in unfamiliar territory, it is very important that you allow yourselves plenty of extra time to reach the meeting point. Rome can be unpredictable regarding public transport, strikes, or general traffic. *DRESS CODE: As the Sistine Chapel is a sacred place, appropriate attire is strictly required. Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women. *IMPORTANT: Every participant must carry valid ID. We regret that fees are non-refundable if you arrive late or miss the tour. The tour ends in St. Peter's Square, where you can later enter St. Peter's Basilica on your own (it is NOT part of the tour). If you wish to enter the Basilica, you can access it free of charge via the security line in St. Peter's Square. If you prefer to reserve a timed entry slot in advance, we suggest doing so through their official website. Our tours run rain or shine. Bring comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather (hat, sunscreen, umbrella, bottled water, etc).
