Confirmation will be received at time of booking. Rome is very hot in the summer so please come prepared with proper sun protection. The tours run rain or shine so please also come prepared with appropriate cover from rain or other elements. Comfortable walking shoes are a must.A moderate amount of walking is involved.Our Ancient Rome Tour meets: 1:15pm (Winter) or 3:15pm (Summer) at Piazza Venezia - Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II. When facing the huge white monument, we meet at the base right-hand (West) side fountain which is attached to the moment. Look for your guide holding a BLUE FOLDER and ask for MAXIMUS TOURS.It's very important that you have a map with you in case you need to ask for directions. We aim to depart promptly.ATTENTION: As most visitors to Rome are in unfamiliar territory, it is very important that you allow yourselves ample if not extra time to reach the meeting point. Rome can be an unpredictable place regarding transport strikes or the Roman Traffic in general. Out of respect for other people taking part in the group tour we aim to depart promptly.We regret that fees are non-refundable if you arrive late or miss the tour.As other groups may be meeting in the same place please look for the Guide with a Blue Folder and ask for Maximus Tours. There may be other groups using a Blue Folder leaving at the same time, please make sure you go with the correct guide.PLEASE NOTE : The entrance fee into the Ancient City of €18 per person is NOT included in the cost of the tour. The entrance fees are payable on the day of the tour directly to the tour guide. We will take care of all reservations for you ensuring a speedy entrance. You can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.
