Itinerary

Departure from Puerto Natales. Early morning departure from your accommodation in Puerto Natales, heading north toward the renowned Torres del Paine National Park.
Stop 1 – Milodón Cave Natural Monument. Our first visit is to the Milodón Cave, located 25 km from Puerto Natales. This impressive 200-meter-long cavern is famous for the discovery of remains of the extinct giant sloth, or milodón, that once inhabited the region.
Cerro Castillo (Coffee Break). We continue the journey toward the park, making a brief stop at Cerro Castillo, a small village where you’ll have time for a coffee or snack at a local café.
Scenic Route – Estancias & Patagonian Wildlife. As we approach Torres del Paine, we’ll pass by typical Patagonian estancias (ranches) and wide open steppe landscapes. Keep your eyes open for local wildlife, such as the ñandú (rhea, a South American ostrich) and the guanaco, a wild relative of the llama.
Entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. After entering the park, we begin to explore its breathtaking scenery: crystal-clear lagoons, snow-capped mountains, and diverse native flora and fauna.
Stop 3 – Salto Grande Waterfall. We’ll take a short walk (approx. 20 minutes) to the Salto Grande, a powerful waterfall that connects Lago Nordenskjöld with Lago Pehoé, surrounded by dramatic natural beauty.
Stop 4 – Lunch Break (location may vary). Time to enjoy lunch in the park (not included unless otherwise specified). The location may vary depending on weather and group timing.
Stop 5 – Lago Grey & Glacier Viewpoint. In the afternoon, we head toward Lago Grey. From the parking area, we take an easy hike to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the lake. Here, you can admire the floating icebergs and the distant Grey Glacier, one of the most iconic views in the park.
Return to Puerto Natales. At the end of the day, we return to Puerto Natales, either via the same route or taking an alternative road that passes by Lakes Toro, Porteño, and Sofía, offering a final glimpse of Patagonia's wild beauty.
