Traveling through the High Atlas Mountains is magical, you will stop at Berber villages, UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou Palace and Ouarzazate, famous for its film productions. We start our trip around 07:00 AM. We will pass breathtaking scenery, palm groves and olive trees. At the gateway of the High Atlas Mountains, we stop for our first destination, Aït Barka town. From this small village, you can enjoy enchanting views of many Berber villages. The second stop will be at the top of the high Atlas Mountains, Tizi n'Tichka. Next, you will continue through the salty Onila valley. You will arrive at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah around midday. Aït Benhaddou is a UNESCO site, classified since 1987. About 8 families still live in the old part of the fortified village. Aït Benhaddou is a natural jewel. Many films were made in this region, including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, the Mummy and Lawrence of Arabia. At this point, you'll have time for lunch and a walk. A local guide will lead you up the hill to take in the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah. Then we will visit the Telouet Kasbah. In the afternoon, we start driving back to Marrakesh through Tizi n'Tichka. You will be dropped off at your hotel around 19:00.
