This Castle is now one of the most visited places in the area since 1886, when King Ludwig died and his private refuge was open to the public. It’s estimated that every year 1.4 million people visit "the castle of the fairy-tale king". In the summer, thousands of visitors go through rooms that were intended for a single inhabitant. Some of the attractions to see in the castle are the valuable furniture and textiles. Additional time allotted for transportation.

This city is part of the famous Romantic Road. The main square is the best representation of the good old pastel-coloured buildings front. Besides, the Rathaus (Town Hall) has all kinds of intricate gold detail on the facade.
