Itinerary

The Hernan Cortes Palace was built in 1526, after an Aztec Palace that was there got destroyed. This building, with a small part of the original structure, meant to serve as a fortress to protect the city. It was turned into a museum in 1974, exhibiting local artifacts and explaining the region’s history. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
