The Cathedral has an interesting background for the country and especially the local, since it took nearly 600 years to complete, from 1388 to 1905. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

Mikulov is spread on the last hills of the Pálava Mountains and surrounded with vineyards. The Chateau is now the seat of the Regional Museum, where you can find the most extensive local exposition on wine-growing and wine-making, including a unique giant wine barrel.
