Itinerary

This town has become a popular wedding destination. The Basilica of Saint Michael receives over 400 weddings throughout the year. This Basilica is famous because it’s where the wedding of Maria and Captain Von Trapp took place in the world-famous musical The Sound of Music. But This church has a richer history, since it began as the Mondsee Monastery, then it was destroyed in the year 748 and rebuilt over the centuries. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

Walk around the streets in the Old Town of Hallstatt to see the local day-to-day life and incredible views of the buildings, the lake and the alps.
