This private tour is the ultimate history experience. First you will visit Potsdam, home to the enchanting Sanssouci Palace with its magnificent gardens and luxurious interiors. Then visit the oldest completed Gothic cathedral in Germany, the Magdeburg Cathedral, with its unique and breathtaking decoration.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you. You choose your own pick-up date and time for a hassle-free door-to-door transfer. Our driver is friendly and available at all times. Itinerary

This was Frederick the Great’s summer palace, built between 1745 and 1747. Get to know this palace, standing at only one storey tall (only the secondary wings have upper floors) and settled at the top of a terraced vineyard. On the inside is even more shocking, with carved marble and gilding, that provide comfort and conviviality. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

Magdeburg Cathedral’s origin goes back to 13th. century when the French Gothic style was adopted to build it. The Cathedral took 300 years to complete and the architects learned by trial and error as in the beginning they had no frame of reference for Gothic architecture. The scale is at 120 meters long and with towers 100 meters high and a wealth of art. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
