On this private journey from Vienna to Bratislava, you will visit the symbol of the city, the mighty Bratislava Castle, where history was made. You will walk through its rooms, which now house a historical exhibition, and learn why the castle has only one tower. Finally, you will be amazed by the magnificent view of the Danube and the Alps from the castle terraces.

Itinerary

The Bratislava Castle is on a site that has been fortified for thousands of years. It’s a defendable stronghold and a great lookout between the Alps and the Carpathians since the 16th. century, when it had its apogee. Now, after war damage and reconstruction, it’s a landmark to see because of what it represents more than its architecture. From the terrace, you can see over the Danube and across the borders into Austria and Hungary, while the interior has exhibitions for the National Museum. The stop is for 4 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
