This private tour is a pleasant way to spend your time. It includes transportation from Naples to 2 sightseeing stops in Potenza and Matera and back to Naples.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you.

1 to 3 people, we will provide a sedan or combi.

Itinerary

Start your day early to beat the traffic and make the most out of this day arriving in Potenza at a good hour.

Potenza is the capital of the Basilicata region. Visit the historic center, Piazza Mario Pagano, and the Cathedral of San Gerardo.

Wander through the ancient cave dwellings and marvel at the UNESCO World Heritage site. Highlights include the Sasso Caveoso and Sasso Barisano districts. Other options are Matera Cathedral and Tramontano Castle (it's not open to the public, but it is possible to visit it from the outside and enjoy the adjacent park).

After the stops, get some time to relax and rest while being take care by one of our drivers on the way back to Naples.
