The journey begins with a scenic ride to Lauterbrunnen, famous for its dramatic cliffs and waterfalls. From there, you continue by mountain train to Kleine Scheidegg, where breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau surround you.

Ascend by train to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe, where you explore snow and ice year-round, walk through the Ice Palace, admire the vast Aletsch Glacier, and enjoy panoramic views from the Sphinx Observatory.

Your return journey offers a different perspective as you descend via modern cableways and trains through Grindelwald Terminal, completing a perfectly rounded alpine experience.

Itinerary

start of the tour. Meet your tourguide at the train station Interlaken Ost. Together you board the local train to Grindelwald. The train ride takes 25 minutes through the valley before getting off at Grindelwald Terminal

Grindelwald Terminal. At Grindelwald Terminal the journey to Jungfraujoch begins. You board the aerial cableway for the scenic ride to Eigergletscher station. 

Eigergletscher station. At Eigergletscher station, you have the opportunity to have a first look over the alps and towards the permanent ice. Here you change onto the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch

Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. At Jungfraujoch, your tourguide will take you on a one hour round tour with different sights. It contains the Alpine sensation exhibition, the Sphinx terraces, the ice palace and the viewing platform, where you can step into the snow. 

Sphinx terrace. Visit the viewing platform at the Sphinx observatory.

Ice palace. Visit the ice palace with the ice sculptures.

Kleine Scheidegg. Your return travel starts with the cogwheel train from Jungfraujoch to Kleine Scheidegg. From there you continue in direction of Wengen. 

Lauterbrunnen. A short stop at Lauterbrunnen gives you a view to the village and the Staubbach waterfall. 

return travel to Interlaken. The local train will take you in 30 minutes from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken, where the tour ends.
