Explore the scenic Italian Riviera! Discover one of Italy’s most amazing destinations, the unforgettable Ligurian Coast of Cinque Terre, UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy scenic views of the 5 ingeniously constructed fishing villages on this private tour from Florence, accompanied by your own guide all day.

Between the villages you will enjoy scenic train rides along the Ligurian coastline. A relaxing boat ride is also included between 2 of the villages so you can enjoy stunning views of the Cinque Terre from the water. Wander the narrow streets, admire the colourful houses or take the chance to swim in the turquoise water.

A multi-course lunch paired with the aromatic, mineral wine of Cinque Terre will be served in a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Cinque Terre remains Italy's most difficult area to cultivate due to unfriendly environmental conditions. Dive into traditional Ligurian food and local specialties, such as seafood dishes and pasta with pesto!

Itinerary

Florence. Pickup and departure for Cinque Terre National Park. The drive from Florence to Cinque Terre lasts for about 2 hours.NB: If you do not provide a pickup location for your private tour, our default meeting point is: Borgo Ognissanti 70, Florence, Italy.

La Spezia. Your direct drive from Florence by private transportation stops in La Spezia. From here, you will take the train to the first fishing village, ride that takes only 13 minutes and gives you more time to enjoy Cinque Terre.

Corniglia. First village to be visited. It is the smallest of the Cinque Terre villages. It is known as the “Balcony of the Cinque Terre”.

Manarola. Second village to be visited. Manarola is one of the most charming and romantic of the Cinque Terre villages. The village is all ups and downs, with steep narrow alleys leading to the sea.

Vernazza. Third village to be visited. Vernazza is unique in Cinque Terre because of the small port that was built allowing ships to land in the protected bay. Here you can visit the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia built in 1318 or seat down in front of the Ligurian Sea tasting one of the best gelato in Italy. Here you will enjoy a typical Ligurian lunch in a restaurant overlooking the sea and the impressive landscape.

Monterosso al Mare. Fourth village to be visited. Monterosso al Mare is the largest out of the five coastal villages. The village is located on hills cultivated with lemons, vines and olives. From here, you will take a scenic boat ride to the next village Riomaggiore.

Riomaggiore. Fifth and last village to be visited. Riomaggiore climbs up along the ridges overlooking the sea and it is characterized by typical stone houses with colourful facades and slate-roofs.

La Spezia. Back to La Spezia. Enjoy the ride back to Florence by private transportation.

Florence. Drop-off. The tour will generally end where it started.
