Itinerary

Ponta do Sol. Get picked up from your accommodation, or meet in front of Tiduca Hotel. Ponta do Sol located is the northernmost point of Cabo Verde, this fishing village is a sight to behold, with it's colorful traditional fishing boast Explore the enchanting, small fishing village with its history, colorful colonial architecture and lively small port. Activities begin early in the morning, preparations for a morning at sea to bring in the afternoon catch. Begin walking from this small port town and witness the living in this village.

Fontainhas. Fontainhas, one of the WORLD’S MOST PICTURESQUE villages, is a must-see. As you walk along the ocean coastal path, you’ll pass small villages with people tending to their plantations, men, women, children, and even animals. You’ll witness how they all contribute to the village’s harmony. Donkeys carrying water containers will be common along the way.

Corvo. With its yam valley, it is one of the most fertile villages along this walk, aside from Fontianhas. Along the way you will fin religious scriptures carved in stone, which you will hear more about from your knowledgable local guide.

Formiguinhas. Small little village where agriculture and fishing is the way of life, with its small population about a handful of people live here, everything consumed must be delivered by man, donkey or boat. The ocean here is rough, fishing is done off the mountain cliffs.

Cruzinha. Upon arriving at Cruzinha, you will be captivated by its breathtaking coastal views and the remarkable makeshift port. While the fishing lifestyle here poses risks, it is an exhilarating experience to witness the village’s vibrant activity. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local place to eat.

As you walk up along the ocean coast path, passing small villages of people with their plantations, men, women, children and even animals all have a role in the village and here you will see how they make it all come together. The coastal views are enormous, strong waves and currents crash against the coastline and although you may be tempted to test the waters, it is a very dangerous coast, there is no swimming here!
