Discover one of Naples’ most iconic culinary traditions with a hands-on pizza cooking class in the city where Neapolitan pizza was born and later recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Begin your experience by meeting your host and putting on your kitchen apron. Learn about the history of Neapolitan pizza, from its humble origins to its worldwide fame, and listen to stories and curiosities about local ingredients and traditional techniques.

Under the guidance of a master pizzaiolo, it is then time to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Put your hands in the dough, learn how to mix and knead it properly, shape your pizza base, choose your toppings and prepare your own authentic Neapolitan pizza. Your host will be by your side throughout the process, giving you tips and helping you perfect your technique.

While your pizza is baking in the wood-fired oven, enjoy the friendly atmosphere, ask questions and don’t forget to ask your host to take photos or videos for your Instagram account.

Finally, sit down and taste the pizza you have created, freshly baked and full of flavor. At the end of the experience, you will receive a certificate of “Master Pizza Maker” and you can take your apron home as a special souvenir of this fun and tasty activity in Naples.
