Thang Tam Temple – A Sacred Spiritual Site in Vung Tau Thang Tam Temple is one of Vung Tau’s most famous spiritual destinations, closely associated with the worship of Ca Ong (Whale God) – the guardian deity of fishermen. The temple complex includes Thang Tam Communal House, Hon Ba Temple, and the Lady of the Five Elements Temple, each holding unique cultural and historical significance. Notably, the Whale Temple houses an enormous whale skeleton, symbolizing the deep respect of local fishermen for the sea deity. Beyond its religious importance, the temple attracts visitors with its ancient architecture and fascinating maritime legends.
Bạch Dinh (White Palace) is a historic French colonial mansion nestled on Big Mountain in Vung Tau. Surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking the sea, Bạch Dinh offers breathtaking views of the coastline.
