In the first chapter, we will immerse you in the history of the Czech lands and Prague, and how it was shaped in the course of history.

In the following chapters, we will walk through the individual buildings of Prague Castle together, i.e. St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George's Basilica, the Old Royal Palace, and finally the Golden Lane.

These buildings are accessible to visitors with a Prague Castle ticket, which is not included in this product. The product is designed for clients who already have a ticket but would like to learn much more about the history and interiors of each building during their independent visit without having to participate in guided tours. With our audio guide, it is entirely up to you how long you want to stay in each building, and you can go through everything at your own pace without having to rush.

Itinerary

It is the most important Czech Roman Catholic church and the dominant feature of Prague Castle. The south tower of the cathedral (also called the Great South Tower of the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Vojtech) is the third highest church tower in the Czech Republic with a height of 96.6 m. The Old Royal Palace is the historical central part of the southern wing of Prague Castle, which served as the residence of Czech princes and kings from the 10th to the 16th century. The Golden Lane at Prague Castle is located between the wall of its northern fortification and the old purgatory. The houses built into the niches of the wall from the end of the 16th century were inhabited until World War II.
