Palcoyo is one of the Rainbow Mountains in Peru, it is considered the alternative Rainbow Mountain for those who don`t want to be in crowded places.
We do this incredible experience walking with alpacas towards the mountain, you will have the chance to live a real mountain experience with local people.

--Instead of one coloured mountain in Vinicunca you will be able to see until 5 in Placoyo

--We do the Palcoyo tour late in the morning so there is less people at the time we go

Palcoyo: The Easier Rainbow Mountain. Palcoyo is the alternative Rainbow Mountain — and it's quickly becoming a favorite for travelers who want the colors without the challenge. The hike takes just 35 minutes on an almost flat trail. No horses needed. No altitude battle. As soon as you step out of the vehicle, you're surrounded by colorful mountains in every direction. Perfect for visitors who aren't fully acclimated, travelers who prefer an easier pace, or anyone who wants to experience Peru's famous rainbow geology without the 5,000-meter climb.
