Beinn Alligin means the Mountain of Beauty in Gaelic - and is well named. This is the easiest of the three famous Torridon ridge traverses, but if the Horns are included it still gives some airy scrambling.


Walk details: 6.25 miles, 10 km - Ascent 300 m, Descent 250 m - Walking time 7 - 7.5 h

The meeting point for transport from Ullapool is the Royal Hotel Ullapool Car Park at 7.30 am. For all who make their own way to the Start of the walk, the meeting time is 9.00 am.
