🚢 Is Your Cruise Ship Docking in Rome?

Make the most of your day in the Eternal City with a private shore excursion from Civitavecchia!

Your driver will pick you up directly at the port and take you to the heart of Ancient Rome—just about 1 hour and 10 minutes away.

We’ll begin our journey with a visit to the iconic Colosseum, where you’ll step back in time to the days of gladiators and emperors.
After the Colosseum, we’ll return to our private car and continue exploring the city's most picturesque Baroque squares, including:

  • Piazza Navona
  • The Pantheon
  • Trevi Fountain

Following a break for lunch at a local spot (optional), we’ll head to the Vatican Museums, where you’ll discover masterpieces by Renaissance masters, culminating in Michelangelo’s breathtaking Sistine Chapel.

At the end of the day, your driver will accompany you back to the port of Civitavecchia in time to reboard your ship.

Itinerary

We'll visit the Flavian Amphitheater, better known as Colosseum

From the Capitoline Hill, after having admired one of the most iconic squares of Rome, we'll enjoy the view of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

We'll throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, to make sure we'll come back to Rome

The best preserved temple of the Ancient World and its amazing dome

We'll learn about the transformations of this square through the century: from being the stadium of Domitian to the Baroque decoration by Gian Lorenzo Bernini

We'll go to the Vatican to walk through the jaw dropping galleries of the Vatican Museums

Michelangelo's masterpiece explained in detail by your expert guide will leave you breathless
