We will pass by Plaza de San Pablo, this is one of the great points of the city of Valladolid. The Plaza de San Pablo was the epicenter of the power of Spain.
The Royal Palace, also located there, was the seat of the Spanish court in the 17th century. In this square there are also many of the emblematic points of the city, such as the Pimentel Palace. The Church of San Pablo, located in the same square, has an Elizabethan Gothic façade and a Renaissance pediment to admire. Following the Church of San Pablo is the Colegio de San Gregorio, with a fascinating facade. Here is the prestigious National Sculpture Museum.
The tour will also pass through the Church of Santa María de la Antigua, one of the most historic parishes in Valladolid. We will cross the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, we will cross the gardens of the Plaza de Santa Cruz and we will finish in the Plaza de la Universidad.
We continue passing through the old Church of San Benito and the Church of Vera Cruz. Walking through Platerias Street, you reach the Plaza Mayor where the Tour of Valladolid ends, dazzling us with its beautiful architecture and history. Time to have lunch, rest and follow the afternoon tour to Segovia
We start in Segovia with the Roman aqueduct. Unique and magnificent, the Aqueduct is one of the most incredible works left by the Romans scattered throughout their vast empire. Next we will take the main street of the city, Calle Real, to continue through the historic center of Segovia.
Then we will go to the Mirador de la Canaleja, from there you can see the mountain of the Dead Woman and the Barrio de San Millán, also the facade of the Teatro Cervantes. A few meters away is the Casa de los Picos, a building with diamond points on its facade, today it is a school of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts.
Passing through the Plaza del Medina del Campo and the Romanesque Church of San Martín, we arrive at the Plaza del Corpus, which was dominated by the old Synagogue, now the Corpus Christi Church. We will continue to the Plaza Mayor, with the imposing presence of the Cathedral of Segovia, with a large dimension and its Gothic-style elegance. Entrance to the Cathedral to visit the incredible interior.
From the Cathedral we will continue towards the medieval neighborhood of the Canonjías and we will arrive at the famous Alcázar, symbol of the art and history of Spain. The tour of Segovia will end in a kind of exploration inside this castle, icon of the medieval fortresses and the Royal College of Artillery. End of the Tour and return to Madrid by AVE (High Speed train)
