IMPORTANT: ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES EARLY

Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before the departure time shown on your booking. Due to tunnel works along the route, traffic is released once per hour. We must depart on time and cannot wait for late arrivals. If you arrive late, the vehicle may leave without you and you may miss the tour. You are responsible for any missed participation and additional costs resulting from your late arrival.

For many visitors, Lofoten is a long-awaited journey, perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We want you to leave with more than photographs: memories of seeing these landscapes for yourself and spending time in the villages along the way.

Depart from Svolvær with a Chinese-speaking guide and travel south along the scenic E10. Between stops, hear stories about Lofoten’s colourful fishing cabins, fishing traditions and everyday life in Northern Norway.

Hamnøy: the iconic red fishing cabins

Visit a classic viewpoint overlooking Hamnøy’s red fishing cabins, with the sea below and dramatic mountains behind them. Your guide will introduce popular photo locations, giving you time to find your own angles and take pictures with your phone or camera.

Sakrisøy: yellow cabins and a longer break

Enjoy a longer stop in Sakrisøy, known for its distinctive yellow fishing cabins. Take a walk, explore the surroundings and photograph the waterfront. You can also purchase lunch or a drink at a local food stop that is open on the day. Food and drinks are at your own expense, and opening hours vary by season.

Reine: mountains, fjords and village scenery

Continue to Reine, where mountains rise around the fjord and fishing village. Spend time outside the vehicle enjoying the views and exploring the village surroundings.

Å: the village at the end of the road

Travel onward to Å, a traditional fishing village at the end of the E10. Discover red fishing cabins, harbour views and coastal scenery while learning about the fishing traditions that have shaped life in Lofoten.

Skagsanden Beach: an Arctic surfing coastline

Stop at Skagsanden Beach in Flakstad, where pale sand, mountain views and the open sea reveal another side of Lofoten. Known as a surfing spot, the beach offers changing light, reflections and waves depending on the weather.

We aim to allow time to explore the main stops, with a longer planned break in Sakrisøy. Your guide adapts the order and time spent at each location to daylight, weather, road conditions and the group’s needs. Shorter scenic stops may also be added where conditions allow.

This is a guided sightseeing tour with opportunities to take your own photographs. A professional photoshoot and edited photo delivery are not included.
