Discover rural Rajasthan on a private open-jeep safari through the Bishnoi villages near Jodhpur. This approximately four-hour outing includes visits to Guda Bishnoiyan and Kankani, road travel and return to your pickup location. Learn about the Bishnoi community's traditions of protecting wildlife and the environment, and look for blackbuck, chinkara and peacocks among Khejri trees and village landscapes. Wildlife sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed. An English-speaking driver-guide, private transportation, bottled water, fuel, tolls and parking are included. Itinerary

Embark on an authentic countryside open jeep safari from Jodhpur to the historic Guda Bishnoi village region, dedicated to wildlife conservation. Take a thrilling drive to spot beautiful desert animals like Blackbucks, Chinkaras (Indian Gazelles), and Nilgai roaming freely. Next, visit the scenic village lake (talab) where magnificent migratory Siberian cranes and birds arrive during the winter season. Conclude your time here by participating in a traditional Amal (Opium) Ceremony with the village elders, a historic ritual of hospitality and friendship.

Visit the famous artisan village of Kankani, renowned for its incredible heritage of traditional handicrafts. Meet local weavers who have kept the art of durry (carpet) weaving alive for generations, and watch a live demonstration of how these beautiful rugs are made by hand. You will also get to see expert craftsmen demonstrating traditional clay pottery making and intricate hand-block printing on textiles, showcasing the authentic creative spirit of rural Rajasthan.
