Full description

Leave Cape Town City and within 45 minutes enter the Stellenbosch Wine region. Stop at the first vineyard and sample some of their excellent wines. Drive to another vineyard for a tasting or simply enjoy the beauty known as the photographer's paradise.

 We then venture into the town and the knowledgeable guide will conduct a city tour. Time will be allowed for craft market shopping or just for exploring the oldest town in South Africa on foot.

Drive to another vineyard within a stunning setting and mountains as backdrops. Sample their excellent wines or just walk around on the estate. Lunch stop follows on another beautiful Estate (Your guide will make the booking as he /she will at this time know what your preferences are) (Note lunch is for own account).

After lunch visit another vineyard in another part of the Stellenbosch Wine Region. This tasting concludes the experience and you will now take on the road back to your hotel to arrive there at around 17h30.

NOTE: Should you wish not to taste wines the guide will improvise and take you to more vineyards with beautiful settings.

Itinerary

The beauty and the wines of the Stellenbosch Winelands. Leave Cape Town and within 45 minutes enter the Stellenbosch Wine Region. A very scenic drive takes you to the first vineyard and you sample their superb wines or you just enjoy the stunning views, a must for the keen photographer. The tour takes you now to another vineyard and a completely different part of the Stellenbosch region- more time to take pictures or sample the wines of an award-winning vineyard.You then venture into the town of Stellenbosch and the guide will conduct a City Tour. This is the oldest town in South Africa and you will have time to capture on camera beautiful examples of original Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georigon architecture. Time will be allowed to spend in the town to do craft market shopping or just toe walk around. Lunch time could be in the city Centre or you can have lunch on one of the many beautiful Estates in the area- please consult with your guide.After lunch another tasting follows- or just a visit to another beautiful vineyard. After the tasting the circular route will take you back to the Mother City.
