Rainforest Trek to Mandara Hut. ​You will hike through the dense, tropical rainforest. This zone is home to blue monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and various exotic bird species. Mandara Hut and Maundi Crater. ​Upon reaching Mandara Hut, you will have lunch. If time and energy permit, you can take a short 15-minute walk to Maundi Crater for panoramic views of Northern Tanzania and across to Kenya.​Elevation: 2,720m​Google Maps Name: Maundi Crater

  • Accommodation: Hotel lodging before or after the day hike is not included in the tour price.
  • International Travel Expenses: Flights, visa fees, and personal travel insurance are the responsibility of the traveler.
  • National Park Entrance Fees: Kilimanjaro National Park entry fees are not included in the tour price. Guests are required to settle this fee in advance, by card or cash, so our management can process the park permits in advance, ensuring seamless entry and avoiding any inconveniences or delays at the gate.
