Itinerary

Elite Montane Forest Expedition & Private Sundowner Experience. Your journey begins with a private VIP transfer to Momella Gate for a seamless, expedited registration. Unlike standard treks, you will be led by a senior expedition leader and a dedicated armed ranger, offering an intimate wildlife safari on foot. Traverse through lush ancient forests inhabited by giraffes and buffalo, enjoying a gourmet white-linen picnic lunch at a secluded scenic point. Upon arrival at Miriakamba, you will be welcomed with hot scented towels and a signature "sundowner" tea and coffee service on the deck, featuring panoramic views of the Meru Crater as your private chef prepares a multi-course fine-dining dinner.

Atmospheric Crater Rim Trek & Gourmet High-Altitude Cuisine. After a bespoke hot breakfast, ascend through the giant heather zone into the alpine desert. Your trek is paced for ultimate comfort and optimal acclimatization. Today’s highlights include dramatic views of the Ash Cone and the towering cliffs of the crater. At Saddle Hut, experience "Mountain Luxury" at its finest with an enhanced camp setup and a nutrient-rich, chef-prepared hot lunch. A basic level of fitness is perfectly sufficient, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience.​Weather Conditions: Mountain weather can shift quickly. We recommend bringing layered clothing, waterproof gear, and a warm jacket to stay comfortable throughout the trek.​Acclimatization: The itinerary is carefully paced to allow smooth and comfortable acclimatization as we ascend.​Tipping: Tipping the guides, porters, and cooks is customary and greatly appreciated by the crew at the end of the journey.
