Itinerary

Hotel Pick-up & Scenic Drive. Your professional driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha in a private 4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy a quick, scenic drive to Arusha National Park.

Guided Walking Safari with Armed Ranger. Step out of the vehicle at Momella Gate for a rare walking safari led by an armed park ranger. Walk alongside wild giraffes, zebras, and warthogs while spotting rare black-and-white colobus monkeys in the forest canopy.

Momella Lakes Wildlife Drive & Bird Watching. Drive along the multi-colored alkaline lakes. Spot thousands of pink flamingos (seasonal), waterbucks, hippos, and over 400 species of water birds

Picnic Lunch with Mount Meru Views. Stop at a designated picnic site inside the park for a hot or packed lunch, with dramatic views of Mount Meru (Tanzania's second-highest peak) in the background.

Ngurdoto Crater Wildlife Drive ("Little Ngorongoro"). Explore the forested rim of the 3km-wide Ngurdoto Crater. Look down onto the marshy floor home to herds of African buffalos, elephants, baboons, and antelopes.

Return Transfer & Hotel Drop-off. Enjoy a final game drive as you exit the park, returning to your Arusha hotel by late afternoon.
