After soaring through the treetops, continue to the Tortuguero Canals, often called Costa Rica’s Amazon. From the boat, scan the forest canopy and riverbanks for sloths, monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, iguanas, aquatic birds, and other wildlife living freely throughout this remarkable ecosystem.
A brief look at Puerto Limón and its distinctive Caribbean culture completes the experience. Carefully timed around your ship’s schedule, this adventure offers the perfect combination of adrenaline, wildlife, and natural beauty in a single port day.
Itinerary
Meet your guide just outside the Puerto Limón cruise port and begin a scenic drive through the Costa Rican countryside to Veragua Rainforest. Upon arrival, enjoy the award-winning Original Canopy Zipline Tour featuring 11 platforms and 11 zipline traverses through the rainforest canopy.
Board a covered boat and cruise through the famous Tortuguero Canals, often referred to as Costa Rica's Amazon. Keep an eye out for monkeys, sloths, tropical birds, crocodiles, iguanas, and other wildlife while learning about the rainforest ecosystem.
